Maryland Heights Chamber of Commerce

What: Volunteers are needed for the annual Taste of Maryland Heights event, helping with set-up, traffic control, food and drink booths, activities and games, and clean-up. 
When: Friday, September 27 anytime 2:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Mason Elementary School

What: Volunteers are needed for a garden work day at our school, working alongside parents and kids to plant, harvest, weed, and care for our gardens.

What: Volunteers are needed to assist with our weekly Challenger Baseball games, assisting children with developmental disabilities play a friendly game of baseball.

Gate District East Neighborhood Association

What: Volunteers are needed to help with our Neighborhood Night Out Kids Corner event, running game booths, face painting, arts and craft booths, and more.
When: Tuesday, October 1 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Butterfly House

What: Volunteers are needed to assist with our Wicked Wings and Wine fundraiser event, helping with activities, serving food/drink, and pedestrian traffic control.  Volunteers must be 21 or older.
When: Friday, October 4 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Brightside St. Louis

What: Volunteers are needed for our Neighbors Naturescaping and Bulb Sale, helping to distribute and load plants and bulbs to be used to beautify St. Louis.
When: Friday, October 4 anytime 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and Saturday, October 5 anytime 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Missouri Botanical Garden

What: Volunteers are needed to be Zero Waste Ambassadors at our Best of Missouri Market event, helping with recycling and composting efforts by making sure waste is properly disposed of in the right containers.  Volunteers also get free access to the event for the day of their choice.
When: Friday, October 4 / Saturday, October 5 / Sunday, October 6; any 3 hour shift between 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital

What: Volunteers are needed for the 2019 Sun Run, a 5K run/walk that supports Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital.  Help with check-in, course marshalling, water stations, etc.
When: Saturday, October 5 anytime 6:00 a.m. - Noon (several shifts available)

The Grove Neighborhood

What: Volunteers are needed for our annual GroveFest, and community festival that brings together our neighborhood for a day filled with games, music, food and more!  Assist with all aspects.
When: Saturday, October 5 anytime 6:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. (several shifts available)

Christian Friends of New Americans

What: Volunteers are needed for our monthly free health screening for immigrants and refugees to assist with registration, and depending on the number of clients, assist the practitioners. No medical background required.  Volunteers must register by the Wednesday before clinic day.
When: Saturday, October 5 from 9:00 a.m. - Noon.

Animal Protective Association

What: Volunteers are needed for the annual Canine Carnival, a one of a kind fundraiser where the dogs get to play games and win prizes.  Help with dog games, selling merchandise, assisting with kids activities, or refilling water dog bowls.
When: Saturday, October 5 anytime 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

The Magic House

What: Volunteers are needed for our Big Truck Day event, where trucks and large vehicles of all kind are available for kids to walk through and learn about.  Help with arts and crafts, visitor safety, and more!

Non-profit organization that is dedicated to creative reuse - the process of artistically transforming discarded goods into objects of worth.
What: Volunteers are needed to assist with our bi-monthly Clothing Swaps, helping customers with shopping as well as setting up clothes.

What: Volunteers are needed for our annual Wolf-Fest Open House.  Help prepare the Center for this event that sees thousands of visitors.
